You might have noticed that a lot of sites are having a blackout today. Eg. Reddit, Wikipedia, (Google), Minecraft, Destructoid, Wordpress, (Craigslist), etc etc.
Why, you may ask? Sure, we all know by now that SOPA and PIPA are bad things. But what exactly do they mean. Let Salman Khan explain it for you in another awesome Khan Academy video:
I can honestly say that I haven't actually read everything about what these bills do, but after watching that video I'm even more concerned about the current state of the US government
If you're an American, take action now and do something plox.
tl;dr: Let SOPA/PIPA pass and it could be the end of Kiwike

I jist finished watching the video and it confirms what i've heard it was. Also, when ever I tell people about it, I consistantly get the reaction of "that's crazy, they'll never let this happen" or "it's just hyped up", people need to open their eyes and look at it. Although it seems that a lot of people are already. Good Job internet!

I watched the Congress discuss it live. It was absolutely horrifying. Old men who've never used a computer literally says "I don't really know what the Internet is about, but this is a good thing /vote yes"¨
Should also mention that Android supports this bill.
