where ever the arrow lands it creates a torch, you could use it to check caves without having to actually go down there and put torches everywhere

dying because of a skeleton you didn't see on the other side of a chasm however, is not a fun part of the game.what i mean is it would be useful for checking areas for monsters and such.

I think its a cool idea Laugh could be used as a flare when you get separated from friends. It could also be used as like a warning shot during battles or sieges.

Yeah, we should try to keep a vanilla feel to everything. Or at least some pseudo realism a flaming arrow would not turn into a well planted upright torch...
