No such thing exists RE: RPG - SirSuba - 09-01-2011 Notch is adding something like this, but more colorful and amazing. RE: RPG - StayPuff - 09-01-2011 As much as I like this plugin, Hoiafar is right. Certain people would get certain advantages over others because of the difference on how much they grind/not grind at all. RE: RPG - Spammuff - 09-01-2011 So. that makes it better, as more skilled players are Shown as better RE: RPG - Sir Prize - 09-01-2011 No you don't understand Spammy... Everything in that plugin is based on chance. Every effect is controlled by chance. And the more you grind, the higher the chance. There is no skill, at all. Involved. RE: RPG - Crazylol5 - 09-01-2011 Please, don't do this, as the name allready shows you why you shouldn't, it's MCMMO, that's for MMOs and for RPGs, and RPGs don't have anything to do with RP. Every game where you control a character is an RPG. RPing is the act of playing someone you aren't but this big difference is that in an RPG the dialoge and the character is implemented into the system and made to fit into the system of that RPG. With RP you have to base your character on the system an play in that environment with a character that you made yourself, with dialoge that you say yourself, your own interaction, your own story, and with real people doing the same. Now why this plugin does fit with an RPG and not with RPing is that you develop with levels. Levels are so terrible when RPing. So terrible. You can change the system, so your character does not have to fit into the environment, but you can just edit the evironment yourself. How? By gaining levels. If you chop a tree once in a while, you will level chance based, meaning that you will level in everthing you do even though your RP bio doesn't say you're good at that. But you can be an All-around mad man that can cut tress, mine, regenerate health like crazy, by just doing everything. You just adjust your bio a bit and you suck the RP out of the server. You should level by experiencing things that increase your skill, like taking part in a mining contest for example, that would increase your skill in your bio. This plugin is so RPG and not RP. RPGing is playing as another person, RPing is being that person, this plugin will make this server one big RPG.
