Lava door was cool and yes, it was defiantly compact, i can remember you shoving it into one of the smallest rooms ever, and that was just redstone mess. We made many versions of doors and confusing pistoneering, when we opened the pistoneers.

Not even Spammuff knows how. He only helps with the stupid piston being dumb glitch. Its not that complicated, and I've been thinking of a design to make it really compact. Without the superduper ugly wiring aswell. When I get home I might experiment with it in Creative, then start on a video.

Actually, its easy as pie. The hardest part for me was figuring out how to get the three pistons on each side to quick fire to get rid of the lava. This would be easy if the fact that the button is not hooked up to a piston T-flip-flop. So, to get them to do that, and still have the pistons on the bottom and top just retract one with the push, I have the wire on the top of the Flip flop go off and connect to pistons, having them fire once.
Hint, this would make much more sense if I showed you.
