There's an item in an iPhone app that, if you were to buy the currency earned for it (which only is earned about twice an hour otherwise), costs about $2,000. Holy freaking crap.

Eve Online has in-game items that changes the appearance of your character.
These items cost more in-game than what their IRL counterpart costs in their gift shop.

Reminds me of something I read about EVE the other day
