RE: Steam Holiday Sale - NLewis - 12-22-2011

I got a question about GMod.

I am thinking about purchasing it, but does it require another source engine game??

Nick

No I think it's a standalone. But you can bring in the models and skins from the source games you have, if you have any.

Thanks

You don't have to buy another source game, just use TF2 since it's free.

Also for today's deall I recommend WH40k: Space Marine if you enjoy things like disfiguring countless aliens/orcs/demons with a chainsword.

I would recommend that as well. They did a really good job at not fucking it up storywise. Which is rare these days.

Drakensang is okay, not great, but okay.
The stat system is certainly unusual.

I'll wait a bit longer for Space Marine, although I've read good things.
