Because Crash likes to AFK at his mob grinder. Sucks that 1.2 will have new mob AI so the mob grinders will most likely not work anymore Troll

If I saw someone AFK IRL there's a 90% chance I or someone else would pickpocket them...

Because just running around killing every one is so role-play like..

stealing is an awesome feature, if done right. Players could also just log out instead of going afk..
or have an /afk command that makes you a ghost or something like that..
It also would be quite hard to steal from a player since you have to sneak up behind him without being noticed by anyone..
