Yeah, I think it would have to be only for mods and it would only mute that player from typing in OOC, if it was given to everyone to mute someone that they dont like so they only dont see what they say, eventually it'd get out of hand, everyone would have people muted and there would be insane conversations going on, because everybody will be partial and some people who have one player muted cant see what that player contributes to what ever conversation...

I never said the mute powers should be given to anyone, or did I? This should be only given to mods.
The mute powers shouldn't work in a way that the target/victim only gets muted for the player that used the command, but the target will lose their ability to speak in any of the defined channels, muting them only in ooc isn't a big of a punishment imo and they can still annoy people through other channels, (like the support channel, yes it exists, or through wispers).

People seem to forget that we do have a support channel at /ch s where spirits can ask questions.
Muting is an option, but the Herochat mute doesn't have a time limit, so you would have to unmute players after a while.
