Well of course :U how about fortification plots? they make whatever is inside of it really strong. If used for normal housing would be a bannable offense for abusing it. RE: Different levels of structures' strength? - yottabyte - 04-24-2012 Another way of doing it is to not allow tools to be used in an enemy town. You would have to break everything with your fists. Naturally, a thick cobblestone wall would be harder to break through than a wall of logs, and it's also possible to do with a server plugin. RE: Different levels of structures' strength? - Sebiale - 04-24-2012 That sounds nice, though a bit odd visually. Also the problem with this is cobblestone is just as easy if not easier to get in large quantities for wood. Why even bother building a wooden wall if a 3x better cobblestone is the same amount of effort? Plant saplings in a straight line 2. Use bonemeal on all of them 3. ![]() 4. Profit But seriously, you're correct. But at the same time, stone walls are more effective than wood walls irl too. No i mean don't get me wrong i like the idea. I just don't see why you would bother with a basic level of wood defense if you can get the 3x times defense of cobble. Let alone trying to mine obsidian with you're hands. Or diamonds as stated somewhere before. The only thing i could think of is allow progression of defenses with sayed population of a town. If it gets bigger and more people they can upgrade their walls for example. But i'm not sure if we want that. and even if this is the place of discussion for this RE: Different levels of structures' strength? - DjFuzz - 04-24-2012 Well Guys, People will just dig under the walls and fortifications.
