Not really that hard if you have a monster spawner. :I RE: KiwiShip Warping - asdfasdflkjty911 - 05-04-2012 I think this is a bad idea, it'd be abused so badly, people would teleport right above enemy towns and such, ruining war. RE: KiwiShip Warping - Leech - 05-04-2012 But, Kiwiships would be a great war asset if it wasn't for the fact that you have to start moving them several hours in advance, along with destroying the element of suprise unless you want them to come in 10 minutes after the battles has started RE: KiwiShip Warping - asdfasdflkjty911 - 05-04-2012 Yes, but that's part of having a kiwiship, it takes months to travel around The world, why make it take seconds? That's not realistic at all.. RE: KiwiShip Warping - iDieForEXP - 05-04-2012 Well, it's not so much as being realistic as making wars alot more fun. Picture this: A group of well-armed men burst through he gate. But the resistance is strong. Neither side gains or loses anything. Suddenly, a kiwiship appears over the town and mwn start pouring down from it, then ANOTHER ship appears over the first one. Drops tnt then flies on the help defend the city further as the wreckage of the first ship drops to the ground. It really forces people to think fast and know the coords to get around. ((Also, to avoid any misconceptions, I meant for the ship not just to go to maximum height, but any location AT the max height to avoid teleporting into mountains and towers and such. Note the idea is that you can't use this often RE: KiwiShip Warping - asdfasdflkjty911 - 05-04-2012 Yes, but keep in mind, it's still an RP server, this kind of defeats that.. Kiwiships arnt suppost to be a "oh hey, let's go here! /tp there" it's suppost to be somthing that you work towards, otherwise there's no point to it, other than towns fighting each other. RE: KiwiShip Warping - lilwhitey - 05-04-2012 Or you could go in a different direction, and add a lever than could control speed. A slow speed, for parking and such, that would be the current speed. And a high speed, in which the ship goes north, east, south, and west at a speed of 5 blocks every teleport, while up and down still stay at one block. Just a suggestion, but this would be easy on the server but still be fast. RE: KiwiShip Warping - Cerce - 05-04-2012 How about, instead, you can teleport to one of the spawns, like Icenfjord, or the inn? That way, you can't pull a Star Wars by warping over to a target and making a cool one-liner, and it is still faster than going all the way block-by-block!
