We'd need to write books on it for people . . .

Or we could just use the reciever, and run it through a decoder.

Isn't that like saying "I know Spanish!", and then run it through Google Translate? >.>

But isnt this like "Hey, I need to send someone a message, but oh no! They are on the other side of this 200 block city, I guess I should make this elaborate redstone decoder and send a message to him...

Well, asdf, back when computers were first invented they weren't exactly capable of fitting in your lap. And if people love bank-vault-like front doors, then hell, why not build giant computers?

WOO, 2001 RP!

RE: The Internet: On Kiwike - conor1121 - 05-21-2012

Considering that making today's computers might be impossible, you are right. Welcome to 2001 Everybody!

well for towns in a nation since they are supposed to be biome specific this would be very useful, at least the morse code idea.

RE: The Internet: On Kiwike - Smythie - 05-21-2012

I don't understand what the biome nations has to do with the morse code if I'm honest.

RE: The Internet: On Kiwike - Leech - 05-22-2012

Because the chunks may all be loaded, and you can speak without being detected

RE: The Internet: On Kiwike - conor1121 - 05-26-2012

Andy, morse code would not be needed because you can program this to be infinitely extendable, and every output can be linked with something, or it can run into a GPU and power an LCD screen. Morse code would be useless on this. Also, for sending messages when a person is not online, we can also make ROM. ROM is a circuit that when powered stays on forever, an example being when you hit a button. When it is powered it will stay on, unless powered by a circuit, causing it to reset.
