You forgot to mention that to make a good joke you must insult a certain denomination preferably one that is not the majority of your audience. A good example of this is saying something along the lines of ~That joke was mean and unfunny so I removed it~
A bad example is saying, I heard MacDonalds and Burger King are removing all shops in America, I also see the suicide rate and purchase of industrial strength cables have risen by 226% too.
