RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - sethd13 - 09-21-2012 Because apparently droid has been vetoing everything :p But I am imagining Revamped with slightly more rp. RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - Cerce - 09-21-2012 What the - What?!? Do I need to go get my list of PM's that only Android has responded to? My God. People. Android isn't blocking change. If anything, from what I have seen, he is generally the one who pushes the inactive members of the administration into action. The only member of the administration that I have ever, ever seen stall progress, be it for RP or for other games, would be Yotta himself. Comments such as 'TL ![]() And yes, I can provide various instances where Android responded and attempted to implement changes. RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - yottabyte - 09-21-2012 Sorry Cerce, but the idea that after putting more than a thousand hours into developing plugins and playing on the server for nearly 2 years, I am not allowed to put my free time into other interests just sounds ridiculous to me. RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - Cerce - 09-21-2012 I'm sorry. What I said was... biting. Regardless, it seems - from my point of view - that you aren't exactly prone to a pro-roleplay standpoint. You seem to get more enjoyment on cracking jokes relative to the server than expanding on the lore, events, or anything other than plugins that make the server 'feel' more roleplay-oriented. In reality, no amount of plugin development can replace a good, well-written event or story. But this isn't the topic of discussion, nor is it my place to fight. I simply want what's best for the server - and removing Android seems like a stupid idea. I can only think of two other people that could fill his place. One of them has left the server quite some time ago, and the other is too humble to acknowledge his own skill. Neither of them are relatively close to Yotta. If another administrator that can rally the server as well as keep in line with the wishes of the owner AND the playerbase is found, let me know. I need to see the admin incarnate. RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - Skote - 09-21-2012 Lets just get some asian kid to be the new admin? They are good at that shit right ![]() RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - bvcxzmn - 09-21-2012 Racist... Just so everyone knows, racism would be a serious and banable offence if I am ever to make the rules here. RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - Leech - 09-21-2012 The idea that Droid is blocking change is absurd and unfounded. He, like Yotta, does much more 'behind the scenes' work, along with forum moderating. The closest thing that he does to blocking change is playing devil's advocate, which is an important role in the decision making process. Droid has been a very beneficial part in the creation of the upcoming RP server, an I have seen a great amount of collaboration between him and Gecko on it. Although he lacks server presence, he is active in keeping Kiwike alive, and should be kept as a staff member RE: Vote of Non-Confidence - iDieForEXP - 09-21-2012 Well, after reading these last few posts, I realize that my vote was cast in ignorance, as I have no clue what Android has done. I'm not going to vote either way. If work is being done behind the scenes for anything, it's been yotta and gecko as far as I'm concerned. Responding to questions asked does not make one an active admin - beyond popular belief. Taking action to find opinions, inform the public about things they should know, and looking for suggestions at this time is what should be done. As far as I'm concerned, no change has been brought forth - and I have only seen suggestions and opinions denied based on a personal bias towards those who would benefit. Yotta is doing a fine job on the other hand, doing a large amount of behind the scenes work that can be actually be accounted for. |
