I'm a little confused about the current town system and I couldn't find proper answers to some of my questions, so...
...is there some kind of block protection in the towns of not? I was also wondering that are the chests in the towns automatically locked or not. Aaaand one last question: does it cost emeralds to make a town?
We have some tiny little houses in a place far far away in the server and we would like to convert them into an official town. I'll fill the application right when I get answers those questions. Thanks and bye.

Seth pretty much got everything, but it costs 150 emeralds to make a town.

Getting emeralds from mining isn't as hard as people think if you're in the biome they spawn in, and you get something like 5 emeralds from voting for the server on minestatus.
