So basically, you are asking the the community to buy really cool, but easily lost chicken. Are you not worried that raiders won't just kill the person who was it, and take the chicken, causing the person to rage about lost property and money

This is the answer to all your questions. It's just a fun gift that you get for donating this month. Yes, people can steal it and you can lose it. But if the only reason you donate is to get a turkey, you might want to reconsider your reasons.
