I agree with Dj :3. When I get my rig around Christmas, that is what i'll do with the exception of Windows.

I will make a contribution though.

Peerblock - If you plan on doing any pirating, a pain to configure, but nice.
Vuze - Nice alternative for pirating, I hate UTorrent.
Open Office - If you don't get Microsoft Office
Rocketdock - Great for keeping an organized desktop (Picture below from my desktop)

Also, that F.Lux program is magical Yotta, just tried it and I love it.

Hmm... torrents seem to be good ways of getting M rated games without my parents knowing Tongue And wait, I wouldn't be able to get a good antivirus from torrents would I?

EDIT: Nah, piratebayed it and they only got 2012

There's enough free quality software you can use to protect yourself.

If you've got a legit version of windows,
You can use Windows Defender.

If you dont like Windows to defend you're software.
AVG works great even when its just a free software.

I'm sure there other options but those are the onces i usually stick with

AVG sucks, just get Microsoft Security Essentials. Free and quiet.

Aight, Ill google it. Do any of you have a suggestion for software to delete all those crap programs that install with Windows?

EDIT: Security Essentials only supports up to Windows 7. Sad
