But I wonder what would have happened to the server if we never began Revamped, if we just stuck with 2.0.

Seth, Droid didn't really have a choice. Bvc and geckosquid made the bet, not him.
Eliza, I don't think you remember the state of the server when Revamped started. 2.0 had been very inactive for almost half a year by then.
