Back to topic: A Mercenary Cove would be awesome. Like a town full of nomads who are willing to do any kind of work.
But is still not affiliated with the thieves guild. Give them a chance to earn some gold.

A Mercenary Cove would add a fun RP to the game. Hire them to take out someone, that someone pays them more to find out who hired them.

Why not affiliate with the Knights? We have the organizational structure, community and skills to makes starting a Mercenary division nearly effortless. If anyone reading this thread is interested in doing mercenaries they should definitely contact me first to see if their ideas are compatible with the Knights. The server already has a highly organized crime/underworld why not take advantage of it?

The whole point is to retaliate against the knights. To prove you don't own the crime system. I would love for them to be seperate, and not benefit from the knights, but rather a whole different group themself.

Think he was talking about the Mercenary Retreat, not the Pirates. It would add a huge role-playing feature to be able to hire a group of people to do your bidding.
