RE: Android - andy66252 - 08-01-2011 android's better there's no age restrictions on apps. plus why give a company richer than america more money? RE: Android - Saera - 08-01-2011 I know nothing about spec comparisons, but I have an android too (HTC wildfire) and most apps are free. You'd have to pay for most apps on the iphone (unless you "crack"? it). Also, I don't expect too much for a smartphone so I'm happy with my little phone, not as good as an iphone of course but still functions nicely. And I agree that the iphone is pretty overpriced. Other than that, it's really your choice. XD RE: Android - Sir Prize - 08-01-2011 Well the iPhone OS runs extremely smooth, and its touch is better than that of most android phones... But then there's the issue of restriction, Android lets you do everything you want with it. And also, iPhone has a part that logs your GPS coordinates all the time. And saves them. And it also cost a shitload of money. RE: Android - RobertF - 08-01-2011 iPhone OS has not existed since 3.0, I assume you mean iOS? The other thing is, whether or not you like Apple products is your own opinion, but what you can't argue is that Apple has one of the best marketing teams of any company, therefore successfully hooking countless idiots into their ecosystem. I however, have 2 iPods and a MacBook Air, but not because everyone else has one. If you like Apple for its functionality, go for it. RE: Android - Sir Prize - 08-01-2011 I was referring to the iPhone OS in general because I had forgotten its name. But, my advice is: if you're going to spend the money on an iPhone, buy an android instead, because an Android phone for that price runs just as smooth. And also has more freedom of use. It is also a lot more powerful so you're going to be playing games with better graphics, or maybe just watching movies with BluRay quality, which you sadly can't do on the iPhone. RE: Android - yottabyte - 08-01-2011 Hey, hey. This thread was about what Android phone to get. He never even mentioned getting an iPhone. Besides, the guy who started the thread quit anyway so there isn't really a point in this thread anymore.. RE: Android - StayPuff - 08-01-2011 He actually said he might stay because of KiwiShips or something, so he actually hasn't quit yet. He just got his account banned though so his bro couldn't play on it though. o.O RE: Android - asdfasdflkjty911 - 08-01-2011 (08-01-2011, 04:02)Sir Prize Wrote: I was referring to the iPhone OS in general because I had forgotten its name. RE: Android - Sir Prize - 08-01-2011 Yeah, you can jailbreak an Android phone as well, and still do more things. Argument is invalid. But, as Yotta said... This thread is over now, I think we should have this discussion in Apple vs. Everything else thread. |
