As-far as i know they can be as long as you want.
But having a longer one does not mean it will be better.
It depends on story grammar interesting bit, and like i stated before.
Having a background that includes alot of people is no reason for us.
To accept it, seeing it might go against the way we like people to meet.

Yes, there is no limit to your applications. The longer, the better. Well, at least for us, not the whitelisters.

Nothing wrong with supplemental character info either, ideally the whitelist app is just the framework for future character development, good RP writers will definitely consider fleshing out their character by publishing memoirs and journals and such.

I'm waiting for a bit more lore on Revamped before I do much on character design.
Personally, I keep a TiddlyWiki on my PC that I use to fully realize a character with details that wouldn't appear on the whitelist app.
