See, Mephisto isa demon, and so he can send telepathic messages such as, Alert, A dwarf is raiding us, its a trap, Kill Rongour. Edit: I killed crash because I had recieved a message from Riskae that another dwarf was raiding again. I assumed that ROngour was involved with it, and so slew him. Yes, I can see how telepathy is arguably powergaming, and so I wont use it anymore. But at the tiem it seemed legit and that was my justification. RE: People vs. bowser, how did it happen? - thornax - 04-09-2012 From what I gathered Crash was apparently leading the men of bowser's nation into a trap. I have no idea whether this is true or not. as I wasn't there. oh and bowser, that whole telepathy thing is BS that's just bypassing the whole OOC thing. RE: People vs. bowser, how did it happen? - squiggley1 - 04-09-2012 My reasoning: Rumors of incompetant and oppressive/dishonorable leadership along with many calls to arms from allies and friends. So you and many other people attack the oppressed people under bowser and take their valuables? This is to benefit them in what way? RE: People vs. bowser, how did it happen? - Crashlander04 - 04-09-2012 It was true that I was leading them to a trap, while skote and leo were to sneak in - but there was no way they could have known that (besides earlier suspicions after finding leo [dillpickle walked straight towards him out of the blue, finding him hiding over a hill while he was sneaking] that I dismissed and had not been acted on) - leading me to think I had legitimately been double-crossed (ironically). If telepathy was used, however, then that would explain party chat XD If in fact that is legitimately accepted RP, then my character would apparently have such quarrel with bowser's - leading to the raid respectively, yet again. We only killed bowser and those who attacked us, or were prepare to fight us. If they had a diamond sword out, then ran away upon seeing our numbers, it is generally accepted that they meant to do us harm. Agreed, your raids would be counter-productive. You're creating a hatred between you an the people you're trying to save. Also, there is, in fact, no leadership because we are not a ctually a nation, just an allied group of settlements in an area. There has been no real "nation" actions to be considered opressive other than a small group of things, which really can't be considered opressive. Also, this is the second excuse I've heard from you that's different. first it's "I had no part in this", and now it's "Well, my members told me to. Why should we trust any of you? I only rose up because your buddies took stuff from my chest 3 times! I don't know where you heard rumours of oppression because bowser is not a strict leader at all and it's clearly all BS. RE: People vs. bowser, how did it happen? - bowser956 - 04-09-2012 Where are you hearing these rumors of war? Since about halfway thru the beta period I have planned to only fight defensive or absolutely neccesary war. I don't want chaos or war. My people arent opressed, you can ask any of the users currently living in the Capital, Amberwood or Ageos and they would not say they were opressed. 'sides that when we do have a nation, I'll only be holding 1/3 of the power. Rule by a triumvirate is what is planned. |
