Maybe we will make it so players can't summon the wither and then have a server wide event. Pvp would be off until the wither dies. Then its a bloody battle to get the star. The last man standing gets to keep the star. Yes, I'm quite evil.

I doubt beacons would be griefable. If so, just lock em up in a protected house in the town you're a mayor of.

He is talking about the Iron/Gold/Diamond blocks below the beacon, to give it more power. You see the bright light, go to it, steal.
