Also, you have to be absolutely sure to get current gen graphics cards! The GTX 560 ti is previous gen (as noted by the 5xx), make absolutely sure to get a 6xx series card (for example, the GTX 660 is only $230 on average but is noticeably more powerful than the GTX 570). Also, you skimped out on the PSU again! I would recommend at the very least 600-650W, if not more. For example, this one would be good for you: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171054 Also, that RAM is a bit overpriced, I would recommend this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313205 Also: ![]() Finally, if you have any money left over I would recommend a bigger monitor. 21.5" would be good, but the bigger the better. If you must, you can get this part used for much cheaper. There's not really a big difference in older monitors and newer monitors other than their weight and power usage. For example, my brother got his 24" monitor for only $75 used. Other than that you have very good choices ![]() Going off of what you listed above, I came up with this for you: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ETFn RE: Gaming Computers. - devilquak - 02-21-2013 (02-20-2013, 08:52)yottabyte Wrote: Oh thee young devil what do you know of arma2? Gpu dependency is for the well optimized games, not for CPU eaters like Arma and planetside. Besides those two games out of the millions, most of how a game will perform is still based on what card the computer has. My case still stands that he should splurge on a GPU. RE: Gaming Computers. - yottabyte - 02-21-2013 Estimated Wattage: 395W Bvc please RE: Gaming Computers. - sethd13 - 02-22-2013 I would not need it to do anything except ARMA2 and some other steamgames, if that information helps. RE: Gaming Computers. - bvcxzmn - 02-22-2013 Trust me, that will change! I started with just BF3, Minecraft, and Skyrim, now I have grown to where I am now. ![]() RE: Gaming Computers. - sethd13 - 02-22-2013 this case is half the price would it still work? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-rc692kkn2advanced where are you at now bvc? What do you mean change, as in more games or as in other tasks not related to games. RE: Gaming Computers. - bvcxzmn - 02-22-2013 Yea, that case would be fine! Also, make sure to not include the mail in rebates in the final cost. If you've ever tried to redeem a mail in rebate you will know that it is virtually impossible. What I mean by where I am now is much more games in addition to a much greater understanding of how computers work. ![]() |
