Question, I've been reading the wiki and from what it sounds like, there's only one dungeon on the very edge of your map. Is that the case?

Yes and no. There is one dungeon on every map, yes. But it can be very close, or very far away.

keep in mind though, you must kill skeletron who has as 8400 hp (6000 = head and 1200= both arms) if you go into the dungeon before killing skeletron he comes in and does 9999 damage based on your armor.

I just got the game yesterday! (its sooooo awsome!)
And I was wondering where can I find a Demon altar Ive looked all over the corruption and havn't found one
