Yeah, I thought I could throw my own two cents in here.

First of all, if good created the earth and humans to serve him, isn't that a tad egoistic?

And also, concerning inter-genus sex (That is, sexual intercourse between two members of the same sex) , and sex in general.

I think that if two people want to do something, they can do it, as long as it doesn't hurt others. For me, it doesn't matter if they're of the same sex, or if they're married. I have not yet had any form of sexual act with anyone I loved (and rather of topic, I seem to be incapable of loving), but rather, I've only done it because it feels god.

Yeah. That's my opinion. And for those wondering, I don't follow any particular religion. I take what I like from religions, science and pseudo-science and mash it up. I don't call it anything.

You know what I do, I wait until I die, and then I'll probably see if there's a god or not.

Except for the fact that you and your mind will be dead TrolldadJump

Well then there's no heaven and I wouldn't mind because I'm dead.

I was borned and raised in a scientific household. However, i do not completly neglect the theory of a God.
I believe in the Evolutionary theory. If there is a god, then he started the chain reaction and sat back. I don't believe that god interfere with our life anymore. I don't believe that prayers will help you except for mental support. Yes , i have tried. I don't believe that god has the right to control how i live my life.
There is a word for this belief. I don't remember the name but it was popular during the French revolution.
As for the afterlife , i also got a wait-and-see attitude

Tl;dr: I believe god created the world and then left.

I don't know about a word but I have heard something like "indifferent watchmaker" thrown around before.

Guess it’s time for my view about things.

I am a follower of the somethingism.
That means i believe there is "Something" up there after i die.
I would call myself an atheist but.

I cannot get around the fact when you die.
You cannot hear, breath, touch, feel, see, etc.
Think about it for a second .. wait you won’t be able to do that also.
The thought is just pretty absurd so that’s why i say there is something.

Now i've done several studies in religions around the world.
And to my conclusion they come down to the same line, they were made to create order in a then currently unstable society. They used a god person to 'punish' people to make them following the laws of society. Now the only religion that pretty much springs out of this band is buddism seeing they teach you you are nothing there is nothing. and accepting there is nothing leads to peace.

But even that is also a way to 'cope' with the thought i have trouble with (The one i stated above). and thus also comes in the same line (in my eyes) for giving people a handle to cope with things.

Now about religion and the laws they have upon civilization.
It’s a fact that religion has been a tool for government people to get a hold of people.
The most famous example might be Emperor Constantine who rewrote roughly 45% of the Christian bible to his own believes and to fit in the setting of that current rome type of age.
His modified version is what christian call the real version also.

And i lost my train of thoughts.. ehm you'll have to do it with this YUNO
