I dont understand how poptarts work

I agree with most of that, but let me explain the Pop Tart
Pop Tarts are a snack/breakfast food based on tarts. They are notable for their many varieties and preparation techniques. While they are intended to be toasted, you can also freeze them, eat them plain, or what ever else you feel like. There are 29 flavors of Pop Tart, including Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Hot Fudge Sundae, and Strawberry. I personally enjoy them as a snack any time of the day, and ate 6 of them yesterday (6 individual, not 6 packages of 2).

Yeah, America has too much sugar. Actually, barely any of it is sugar. It's just chemicals that should be illegal in most laboratories.
So here's how a Poptart works... it's rarely actually toasted, despite what the cover says. Anyone who toasts a Poptart is a derp. To eat it, start from the outside and work into the middle.

I thought I was doing it wrong when i ate it raw so i put it in the microwave for 3 seconds. No difference, felt like a derp indeed.
