RE: My current dilemna with skyrim - Sir Prize - 11-20-2011 Oh Skyrim does have a lack of NPC's, unfortunately. There are 7, maybe 9 people in total in the mages guild, there are about the same amount in the companions, the whole imperial army in Skyrim seems to be consisting of 20 men. But yes, I do agree that they really succeeded in making Skyrim graphically immersive. However, I would gladly give up 2 hours of scripted voice acting for endless amount of in-depth story and the ability to be able to control events. That's probably what bothered me most with Skyrim, way too many scripted scenes, combined with way too short quest lines. RE: My current dilemna with skyrim - geckosquid - 11-20-2011 Well, there's still way more NPC's than Morrowind had. But yes, the quest lines are very, very short. The Companions questline was disappointing IMO. RE: My current dilemna with skyrim - Sir Prize - 11-20-2011 Not to say the Imperial army questline... You raided a few castles, and bam. You've now conquered all of Skyrim. The only quest line I'm slightly non aggitated by was the Dark Brotherhood, despite the somewhat anti-climatic ending.
