RE: Build me a computer. - asdfasdflkjty911 - 05-28-2012 Trolling everybody WITH MY TRUE FACTSSSS! RE: Build me a computer. - Crashlander04 - 05-28-2012 Get your macfag stuff the fuck off my thread; go make your own if you want to try and justify it. BACK TO BUILDING A COMPUTER. I have no defined budget really, but I'd prefer to keep it at least around 1000$, so I figure it'd be fine if the monitor, keyboard, and mouse tipped over a bit. RE: Build me a computer. - Cell - 05-28-2012 My budget is around 600. According to Yotta, IDie's with a 560, instead of 550 graphics, and a better power supply. Just something that I can upgrade as I go. RE: Build me a computer. - Crazylol5 - 05-28-2012 To mac: Flashbackvirus, lol To Crash: Would you like a second monitor? Poor Crash, always trying to compensate for lack of power and authority in real life, and other things ![]() RE: Build me a computer. - geckosquid - 05-28-2012 (05-28-2012, 14:55)Smythie Wrote:(05-28-2012, 03:45)Crashlander04 Wrote: Get your macfag stuff the fuck off my thread; go make your own if you want to try and justify it. Stop playing with matches. Might start a fire. RE: Build me a computer. - Crashlander04 - 05-28-2012 Ugghhh, stop hijacking by thread with flame, go be a douche to somebody else :c In other news, I only need to be able to run games like Diablo 3 or DayZ on average-decent FPS, so I'm not looking to max out my whole budget on just graphics. Unless that's how computers work, I honestly have no clue. RE: Build me a computer. - bvcxzmn - 05-29-2012 Have you looked at the YouTube video I posted? It should answer any questions you might have. I'll re-post it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=lPIXAtNGGCw This is another helpful link that is strongly related: http://www.newegg.com/Store/Computer.aspx?cm_sp=nav-_-menu-_-computerhardware&name=Shop-All-Computer-Hardware The videos are a little out of date (the next generation of graphics cards and processors have come out), but they are still very helpful. several things I would recommend about these builds: get 8GB of ram instead of 4GB. It's not much more expensive, but it will prevent any RAM bottelnecking, and will pretty much be the maximum you will ever need (unless you frequently blow up massive amounts of TNT in Minecraft like me). In general, I recomend doing lots of research before buying important parts like your motherboard, processor, and graphics card. Also, make sure to go overboard with your power supply in case you want to upgrade in the future (a mistake I have made before). Use this site to make builds you think would work. It has everything you need and a lot of it's very cheap http://www.newegg.com/ |
