This debate seems to be between Gecko and Crash's option's when option 3 is beating the other two options by far. I would like to remind everyone: Option 1 is an expansion of option 3, so by voting for option 1 you also vote for option 3. The difference between the two options is that option 1 adds a new server with epic lore that is TBD for those who want to do Hardcore RP. You don't have to go on the new server if you don't want to, it's just another option!

I would like it if we could have a run-off election between Gecko and Cerce's plans. So no option 3 and 4.

A good idea, but I still can't stress enough that gecko's plan has Cerce and Cap's plan incorporated in it.

Yep, pretty much. It's very rare that someone actually dies, though.

I would imagine that if you do end up typing /kill because you died, then your character would be dead and you would have to make a new one. So, like Gecko said, it would be very rare, and a fairly big deal.

Besides, I think for the most part when you text-fight with someone, it isn't to get what they're carrying. That's more of a vanilla MC mindset. The purpose for fighting with RP is to develop one's story.

Keep in mind that the following gets very boring:

1. Establish a home in a safe area
2. Go out into the wild and fetch resources/money
3. Return home and buy items/further your reputation
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3

It's fine to implement it, but just don't use it as the basis of the server.
