You have to realize that moving 6000 blocks every other second will lag the server.

I saw this today. And the mod lets you rotate the ship !
But no SMP yet.

Ah, the Zeppelin mod. Lots of hype around it when it was released. It's not that special though. No chests, noteblocks, redstone, dispensers on your ship for example. And I don't think you can modify the ship after creating it for the first time.

Smooth flying is defiantly a benefit.
The problem is with just "Smooth" flying in Kiwike, there is no point to the ships.
Where as having redstone creations, chest, and so on and so forth, there is a point to having an airship that can travel the world.
