So I managed to mine a little cave and make some stockpiles in there. The shales are annoying the heck out of me though.
I removed my wagon and I'm trying to get my damn dwarfs to move to their cave...
And then I made a mason workshop but the carpenter won't build it for some reason. I really should watch the tutorials again

Err... masons workshop requires the MASON skill, not carpenter skill

anyone have an okay world WITHOUT aquifers? I can't dig anywhere because of them!

There are area search options for getting certain things like no aquifers, and intricate, fun ways to get around aquifers. Most involving giant plugs of dirt.

I know about the thingey that tells me what's in the area, but the problem is that every hospitable places i can find have aquifers! is there like a mod to just get rid of them
that would make my life complete.
