It has become apparent that that is once again, not true. People, if anything, are more interested in the forums and community itself than any map we currently have. I feel as though people simply associate the idea of Survival with the Nostalgia of 2.0.

Also some of us people have played the game for over 2 years, it may start to get boring. Make it fun again would probably require some brand new awesome stuff.

Utter shitstorm - or perhaps add /roll for sponsors - which could give you any plethora of random effects once a day:
- Teleport you to another person somewhere in the map
- initiate an arena battle
- kill everyone in game
- OP temporary weapons
- OP temporary powerups
- Temp flying or higher jumps
- give everybody online some reward
etc..

Ok. You know what, if yotta wants to code a mod for this, we should reconstruct Battlefield 1943 in Minecraft and add stuff every week.

Flan's Plane's mod and the Zeppelin mod were undoubtedly my two favorite mods, closely followed by buildcraft, I am so sad that the modders have not been able to update past 1.2.5 yet
I built the majority of a 1:1 scale replica model of the WWII USS Enterprise CV-6 from inspiration from Flan's Plane's mod. Speaking of that, I want to continue with building that...Back on topic, I am going to think of how to implement these mods, and other mods, without the presence of a mod turning newer and more casual players away from the server. This could truly be awesome if done effectively.
