Furthermore, and more to the point, it's been a long while and the vote seems to be leaning in my favor. I've already stated that I'm apt to change so please take that into consideration, Crash.
You say that "the community has greatly lost confidence in his ability to fulfill his job" but the vote provided before us says otherwise, even if by a smaller margin. Of course I won't go locking this thread because that'd be utterly hypocritical of me in a time like this, but I will seek for the end of the vote through my previous pleas.
Fair point. I was stating it from the perspective of people who had been attempting, for the latest part of Revamped, to keep playing on the server. Of course there is support from members of the community who are far more inactive than the staff.
If you are so apt to change, why simply end discussions and whole suggestions which the majority has voted for? You, as stated above, claim to cater to the will of the majority, you must admit.
However, if you are honestly apt to change, I would expect some direct action to be taken. I would be perfectly happy to have you stay an admin if you were actively working towards fixing the problems at hand along with us.

I'm not entirely sure if that something that would be replies to in words versus further action, however, if you're itching for an answer to the only question you posed, the staff in certain cases might strongly believe in one thing where a small majority may believe in another. In the end, the staff members are the ones who are going to be trusted with the final decision, as is usually the case. The staff is expected to take everything into account whilst maintaining an unbiased position, and this is why in some cases we do not agree with that majority.
We take every suggestion and poll into account but act in favor of the server with, in most cases, a broader view of the problem at hand

An answer, yes, is what I was looking for. You continuously prove to be endlessly condescending, however.
This only supports the fact that the community is not listened to. There was a significant majority of players who were actually active at the time voting for The Save Ian Act, and they were blown off solely because of your own personal opinion, without so much of a reason, an argument, or any explanation of any sort.
That is not considering the community, or even deciding what is best. That is an utterly selfish decision.

Why would that be concidered a totally selfish decision? It`s not like keeping Ian banned has any reasonable individual benefit for Droid. The reason, at least as far as I am guessing, for keeping Ian banned would be entirely based on the well being of the community. It would be pointless to make the decision with anything else in mind because it only involves the community. They are fully aware of the 50 page long flaming session that resulted because of Ian and his friends and ended in their ban, and that most likely was a large part of their decision to keep Ian banned for the sake of the community.
Also, you judge Droid way too much. He says a simple question in a peaceful manner in order to ensure you are content with his responce, and you respond to him by calling him condescending. Watch what you assume, and maybe give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes.
