And a new town has joined this great nation, or should I say a new great tree has joined the nation.
Ygdrasil is the world tree in norse mythology, and as such we set out to build a tree city.
The central hub of the city is the stem of the tree, and the city revolves around it, below it's crown.
Ygdrasil is still in the process of being grown into this world, but it has recently been recognized as an official town and the building of houses and plots is in the process.
Our great tree is under communistic/democratic rule. Which means that everything is owned by everyone.
What you gather you can keep for yourself, we won't force anything on our citizens, but please know that our system builds on the old principle of "an eye for an eye". To gain access to our treasury, you must make an equal sacrifice to the community.
You will also gain your first plot for half the price on joining our community, but to counteract the great loss of money because of this the taxes are high. 2 gold a week to be exact.
Everything related to the future of the city is voted upon by the citizens, however, in the event of the community being split in it's opinions, officials will make the decision.

Yeah, I think someone mentioned the Avatar tree on Skype when we were building it.
But that was not my original intention, I just like trees, flying things and vikings. So I thought I'd mix 'em all up.

Cell, we are not afraid of getting raided, we are in the progress of building redstone locks for our most valuable belongings, in which case the only way to get to them is by knowing the lock or griefing, and if they were to grief they would get banned.

Cornerstone is in the north, Ygdrasil is North West of it.
Might as well just say it before NLewis starts giving out coordinates to everyone.
