Looks like probably the adventure stuff will be held back. Notch said it's not close to being done. Instead notch put up a suggested Piston only update until adventure is done. A poll was done and 90 percent said yes. We will see if it happens

I'd like to wait for everything at once, its alot more fun when you have 6 new things to explore, use, try, build, craft rather than just 1 with another 1 that is the same thing only it moves blocks back and forth instead of just foward.
Plus the anticipation realy gets to me :p When it coems out Im like YAY!

But yay for pistons I guess. Although I would prefer one big update, it's a pain keeping up with Bukkit and plugins at the same time.

Posting in the locked archive wasn't the best thing to do though
On topic: This was officially announced on Notch's blog a couple of hours ago. 1.7 is coming soon, just pistons.
