Having fun with pistons - Sir Prize - 07-01-2011

I have a habit of deleting threads when I don't like them, so this is my second thread. Hopefully I do it right now.

Anyways, lolboll wanted me to help him make an experimental piston door.
However, I had a different idea in mind.

And here's a video to show you what (And yes, that is a very tired Hoiafar talking, and also a StargateNerd laughing at the end):

You got a sexy voice =3

RE: Having fun with pistons - Sir Prize - 07-01-2011

Might be related to my extreme natural sexiness.

RE: Having fun with pistons - squiggley1 - 07-01-2011

Haha, nice! I will reset the password on the KiwikeGaming account and see if I can upload videos of my contraptions. Laugh

Edit: I hope it is ok if we turn this into a general piston thread :x

Here are my best piston works so far

Aw, I was hoping this could be a thread about my sexy voice. Oh well, general piston thread.

And I also had something in mind about a stair that drops down. These pistons are totally awesome.

Your voice is godlike, Even when sleepy. and stargatenerd Laugh Nicekillbro!

RE: Having fun with pistons - Sir Prize - 07-01-2011

I am almost done with the drop down entrance.
However, there seems to be an RS Nor latch that has no input nor output when I press the button to make it come down. Which is rather strange since it works perfectly if I just place a torch on the redstone wire connected to it, but not if I press the button.

I will never reach this level of redstone engineering Sad Im jelly

RE: Having fun with pistons - Sir Prize - 07-01-2011

It's not hard Unreal, I am in fact in the making of a redstone tutorial, and I know there are lots of others out there.

But I've also gone a course in Digital Electronics (Logic gates, blah blah blah) which actually helped me a lot on the way to understanding redstone.
