Warzones, okay so warzones are not actually places where you have battles to decide wars (well we could do that but it would be no fun). Instead warzones are a bukkit plugin that gives you the ability to create capture the flag mini games thingys.
ex. raidsmp has a separate server called raidsmp mini game, the point of that server is to run small mini games that mostly involve warzones, such as the d-day mini game (currently their only mini game do to technicalities) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k3U5J_mGKc .
however my idea for these war games is that they can be held as tournaments, the winning team and or player (whichever) will go home with a prize of some sort. It would help players earn cash, reknown, equipment, and would also add many RP elements to Kiwike.

Why not suggest this for open suggestion week? Or even in the suggestion forum where it belongs? Regardless its a good idea i guess.

also dark_dusk what I meant by prizes is gold (as in $$$), armor (depends on the battle size ranging from iron - diamond (gold included)), weapons (bows for lil' tournaments, arrows (like 4 stacks), swords (iron - diamond)).

also some tournaments do not offer gold but instead every winner gets a certain item, like, there are 9 people on the winning team, that means every person on that team gets 1 diamond. also, if you are on the losing team you will be given a small reward (at least half the amount of the winners prize).
there may be some tournaments in which instead of each individual getting something, their town and or nation gets something to distribute among the people (large cashes of weapons, armor, gold, food, materials, all those goodies)
Another benefit of this is that it will hopefully bring an influx of new active players, which is something we really need.

I have an idea for 2 different types of warzones.
1: siege: siege is like this, okay so the enemies havea big castle and such with a whole bunch of passages and traps and such. but thats their weakness!! seeing as there will be all hell on the top side it will be extremely hard to not only gaurd the flag but be able to kill intruders and enemies with the flag! The attackers however will be given a ton of siege equipment (chests of tnt, tnt cannons, arrow cannons, etc.)
2: Skirmish: skirmish is pretty damn simple, the battle field is just a big piece of terrain, no buildings except for some war tents and barricades for atmosphere. There are no passages to hide in, meaning the entire battle is an all out slaughter.

This War plugin has already been suggested in another thread. We don't really like how it works and we are already working on another solution.
