Okay so somehow, over night you not only scored a coupon for a bunch bacon but you also took over the world. What do you do now?
My answer: begin the great purge, also, terra form mars and force china and India to move their population to it, that way they won't get over populated

I would enforce english as a world wide first language, other languages may be allowed to exist, but english would be the main language.
I would also lower the grant for religions, and ban the collecting of money in churches. And placing the money that was originally meant for religion into science.
I would also tighten the demands that needs to be met for religious cults to become recognized as real religions, so that we won't have obvious scams like Mormonism and Scientology.
I would place a small "council" in charge of every country, then I would create a company who's sole purpose is to make sure that these councils do their job, and not get corrupted.
This council would not be able to do anything without the support of the people, except for menial matters.
Hospitals and other public service buildings/companies shall be owned and funded by the government, paid for through taxes.
A world wide child limit shall be enforced, until such a time that other planets may be populated.
All military forces shall be disbanded, replaced by a central police force run by the central government.
And... That's pretty much it, what I can think of right now.

How is it oppressive? I give the people of every country full control over their country, unless it damages other countries, and eliminating corruption at the same time.
