I did it! - tristo999 - 10-26-2011 I know I know i am not the smartest when it comes to computers. Let me tell you a story. About 7 to 10 years ago i got a new computer! I was so happy. It was the most top notch thing you have ever known. Sadly it fell into a bit of a disrepair. I used it to run a server smoothly since it couldn't play any games. Wait. Did i say that old of a computer ran a server smoothly. I did. Now I fixed its Direct3D and graphics card and i'm wiping its junk games and crap that should take off maybe 10 GB. You know what that means. Time for me to get off the toaster and start playing some minecraft. BooYah. Watch out boys for i'm coming home. Me and my All-In-Wonder9000 pro graphics card on the discontinued Radeon Series. I know your afraid now. Run boys. Run ![]() RE: I did it! - Leech - 10-26-2011 And then his power supply breaks RE: I did it! - tristo999 - 10-26-2011 >.>.. RE: I did it! - tristo999 - 10-26-2011 No one cares =( RE: I did it! - Saera - 10-26-2011 Bravo? So I'm guessing no more 2fps? RE: I did it! - tristo999 - 10-26-2011 Dunno. Haven't gotten around to much testing. And the computer is stationary so if I want to sit on the couch i just upped my Laptop also. So maybe maybe not. Also i do need to test. At my partially built estate i got 25 fps with fancy and far on so =P RE: I did it! - yottabyte - 10-26-2011 Removing stuff from.hard drive doesnt affect SMP performance at all. And minecraft uses OpenGL, not Direct3D. Nice try though. ![]() RE: I did it! - Saera - 10-26-2011 (10-26-2011, 18:06)yottabyte Wrote: Removing stuff from.hard drive doesnt affect SMP performance at all. Minecraft uses OpenGL, pretty much all graphical applications made in Java does. And removing stuff from your HDD makes it faster, but SMP doesn't need the HDD for anything else than loading the files, which it does when it starts the program, so the only thing you're going to gain from it is maybe a couple of milliseconds faster startup. RE: I did it! - Cell - 10-26-2011 Herm, Nice photo there fitz. Of creator walking ![]() As for the Computer things, Never once have I updated my drivers in the three years I have had this computer, nor do I know how to. I just updated java a week ago, and I need to check up on OpenGL. Lol. |
