squiggley's super happy MSpaint banners :D - squiggley1 - 11-06-2011
[attachment=84]Helloz everyone, I often make flags and banners for RP purposes using MSpaint. If you would like me to make you a banner then follow these steps!
1: Come up with some decent lore for the flag (no meaningless flags)
2: make sure the design is simple enough to be made in MSpaint (I'm not amazing at this)
3: then simply fill out this application:
Flag for:
design:
Lore and symbolism:
colors used:
4: that's it! I'll post the flag once it's done.
Example:
Flag for: House Vellstan
design: Light blue squiggley looking lines on a royal blue background with a light blue sword going through.
Lore and symbolism: House Vellstan is an old house, originating from the Kingdom once known as Ulva. For hundreds of years the Ulvans had ruled fairly and rightfully, and house Vellstan was one of the higher houses in the land. However, the last Ulvan king was a tyrant and a murderer. His name was Vorath the 5th, he did what ever he wanted right or wrong and caused grief and sadness across the mountains of Ulva. The final straw was when he stole the virginity from Lysa Vellstan, a young maid of 21. Sparked with fury the Vellstans roused the other rebelious lords and wen't to war. With the help of the Kingdoms of Lostrand and Thornia who had both suffered because of Vorath, house Vellsatn toppled Vorath off the throne and placed Geod Vellstan upon the throne. So for 413 years house Vellstan ruled fairly and happily... until the plague came... The sword in the picture is the sword Ice, an old heirloom of house Vellstan. It is forged from a meteor full of strange metal and gems that seemed to radiate cold. The blade itself is razor sharp and can litteraly freeze a man's blood.
