Headset - Leech - 11-08-2011 Well, it's almost that time of year again, and, as EVERYONE on Teamspeak has pointed out, I need a new mic. And, I have terrible, 12 year old speakers. So, I decided that I should kill 2 birds with 1 stone and get a headset. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking about going with the Razer Banshee, but, that's only because it's the cheapest headset Razer has with a mic and large earcups. So, anyone got a better idea before I attempt to get that? RE: Headset - partyars - 11-08-2011 I got my creative fatal1ty headset for over a year now ans it's still good, just don"t drop it RE: Headset - Sir Prize - 11-08-2011 Razer merchandise is shit. This coming from a former Razer fanboy. Don't buy it. If anything, get Steelseries Siberia V2. RE: Headset - Cell - 11-08-2011 All I can say is don't go Turtle Beach. The headsets pieces seem to break constantly, and I've had one for over 3 years now. Its better to go with a Steelseries, i've heard good things about those. I need to get a headset soon enough aswell. Christmas? I think so. RE: Headset - yottabyte - 11-08-2011 I've always liked the creative fatal1ty that party mentioned. Problem is that it breaks, just like every headset I know of. I think I have like 3 broken headsets of various kinds around here. This is my second fatal1ty, and the right speaker is very glitchy so I might get a new one for christmas... Will be following this thread too. RE: Headset - Sir Prize - 11-08-2011 Steelseries Siberia V1 was my first gaming headset, it held until it was stolen by some arse. And then I got Siberia V2, and have been using them since. Those two headphones have been my only headphones ever. Which probably talks of their quality. They've also got great sound quality and a more than decent mic, it's got some shitty sound catching, so I had to boost the mic, but the sound quality is fine, both on the mic and the headset. RE: Headset - Leech - 11-08-2011 Ya, looking at the Siberia V2 now, and it looks nice. And I love my Lycosa, I've never had problems with it. but ya, I'll look into the Siberia unless anyone has other suggestions. I'm too worried I would break a Fatal1ty to get one RE: Headset - Spammuff - 11-08-2011 Logitech headset for £9 Always did me well :L RE: Headset - Crazylol5 - 11-08-2011 My 10 euro headset broke in half. |
