Recent Inactivity - Cell - 12-08-2011

Well guys, I'm not sure if some of you have read my Inactive message.
But, my dad just had surgery.

My dad, having severe arthritis, is a stay at home dad. He does get social security, etc. But because of this, my mom has to work two jobs to support the family.

He recently found out that he has a torn rotator cuff, bone on bone, and a torn bicep in his shoulder.
This is what caused him to go into surgery.

They fixed everything except the bicep, as he has some sort of birth defect. They even removed the arthritis on his bones.

Well, this caused him to have no movement in his right arm for quite some time. It is currently in a swing.

The estimated recovery time, 4 months.

Now, as I said before, my dad is a stay at home dad. He does everything around the house. Cleaning, taking out trash, cooking, picking up me and my sister from our bus stops, cutting the lawn, etc. This isn't possible anymore. This is not to mention that our house is a "Fix me up", and that is what he has been working on.

So, i have basically had to take over the majority of the things he can't do around the house, leaving little to no time for me to play games, schoolwork, etc.

Its only been a week after his surgery, and he is starting to get on his feet again. So expect to see me on and more active on forums now.

Sorry for the LITTLE wall of text, I just felt like I owed some sort of explanation.

See you all on Kiwike revamped soon, as that is when I most likely will be all up and about Kiwike, Cell.

Spoiled kids much? You should get off your feet more often and give him a slack. I'm sure he would appreciate it.

Other than that, hope your dad recovers well and it's good to see you back.

Spoiled....? ┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵ ┻━┻
But seriously. I'm at school for 8 hours (Charter school). And by everything around the house i'm talking about the things that he does when we are not home, which is basically everything. Silly yottabyte.

Oh, and I didn't mention how much he hates not being able to do anything. All he can do around the house right now is watch Tv and sleep. Which he has troubles with due to his shoulder. You see, his career was as a construction worker, so he likes to be up and moving around. Arthritis + Surgery, not possible.

Maybe I'm just not used to the concept of house wives/dads as a Swede...
