Me and Ian have been ruthlessly using the locks and lockpicks - and we've noticed two major dilemmas to locks.
1. Iron hoes are far too common and easy to obtain to be used for lockpicks. Just from mining for two days we have over 6 or 7 stacks of iron in excess.
2. Directly related to the first point, iron seems to have perfect lockpicking ability - meanwhile I'm just bad at using picks, Ian has succeeded using iron hoes every time without fail on his first try. This means that you only need to have an inventory of iron hoes to break into any number of chests. I would recommend removing iron hoe lockpicks completely, or reducing their chance of success far (like FAR FAR) more noticeably/significantly.

Confirmed on mine/gecko's side aswell. We messed up the first time, then read how to do it. Got it on our first try.

I thought we agreed on a 50% success rate on Iron.
This should probably be lowered to 25%.

Well I think all success rates should be lower as there is no real advantage if you get a lock
