This is something I've seen on another server, you just /nick name and then everyone sees the name over you and your in-game messages as such, though it comes with a period in front to let others know it's not your registered IGN.
Seems like something that might be useful for RPing if we don't have it.

I'd think that'd work well for RP - except only admins would have the ability to change the nicknames.

by that logic why are we even RPing? if adding another name into the mix is too complicated why bother making an RP character?

I guess we keep a piece of paper nearby listing who's who if anyone has a name they want in RP.

I suppose it might be possible if people would put their rp name right in the application
