[Wiki Project]: In-Game Commands - guthriearmstrong - 02-17-2012

I'm starting a wiki article listing all available in-game commands. I'll need some help writing it, though. I don't know them all!

Also, should I include mod only commands, or should we leave that to the supersecret mod thread?

Speaking of the wiki, I updated the plugins page. Could you replace it with this?

RE: [Wiki Project]: In-Game Commands - yottabyte - 02-18-2012

Hokai. Here is what I wrote about the custom plugins a few days ago. Feel free to use it for the wiki. Might be a bit long for just describing each of the plugins, but you know.

Quote:Actinidia

Actinidia is the all-in-one plugin. It takes care of combat logging, spawn killing, homes, /inn, leaf drops and tracks player online times.
Combat Logging

The combat logging prevention will automatically kill a player if they have engaged in PvP combat 30 seconds before disconnecting from the server.
Spawn Killing

When players respawn, they can’t take damage from other players for 10 seconds. Hurting another player will break the protection.
Homes

Server donors can set their home by right-clicking a bed. Using /home will let them return there, no matter of the state of the bed.
/home has a 15 second warm-up time to prevent players from escaping using the command. It also has a very long cooldown to prevent over usage.
The Inn

The Inn is a vital location in Kiwike. Server donors can go there by using /inn. The command has a cooldown time to keep the game as fair as possible.
Leaf drops

Leaves drop special items depending on the biome.
Tracking player times

Actinidia saves the time when someone logs off for various usages, one being for the Locks plugin.
Creeper protection

Creepers don’t do any block damage if they explode on the surface (y is more than 50).

PostBoxes

Players can create a postbox by placing a jukebox and putting a sign on it. You write [Postbox] on the first line.
A player can own several post boxes and they all have the same inventory. This is useful for sending items or letters across the world.

Send an item by right-clicking the jukebox with the item.
The owner can withdraw items by right-clicking the jukebox.
Locks

Locks is a unique chest locking plugin. It lets thieves lock pick the chest, but only when the owner is online.
You can buy locks from Blacksmith NPCs in some towns. Look at a chest and use /lock to attach the lock to it. You can use /unlock to retrieve the lock. A locked chest can only be accessed by you.

A player can use a hoe to pick the lock and open the chest. Yes, hoes are lockpicks, didn’t you know? The thief picks the lock by left-clicking the chest with a hoe equipped. Stone and wooden hoes do not work. The lockpicks have different success rates. Iron hoes have the lowest rate and diamond the highest. The picking process takes 40 seconds with a full durability hoe. A lower durability gives lower success rate. The durability goes down while the lock is being picked. Moving or changing equipped item will snap the lockpick.

A chest owner can see if a chest has been picked when they open it.

Locked chests can not be broken by TNT nor players.
Parties

A party is a small group of people. They can see each other’s health and armor (Spout only) and they can’t hurt each other. Parties can be useful during raids or as squads in war.
It is normally limited to four people, but parties with a server donor leader can have more members.
Stronghold instances

With parties come stronghold instances. Kiwike does not have the boring normal Minecraft strongholds. A party can visit a stronghold entrance and have the leader talk to the NPC there. They will be taken inside the stronghold where monsters spawn around every corner. Fight your way through the monsters and find the loot and End portal. Enter the End to fight the Enderdragon and receive great amounts of XP.

KiwiShips

KiwikeNPC

KiwikeNPC is one of the background mods not being seen normally. It takes care of all the unique NPCs and their beautiful Spout interface.
It currently features Blacksmiths, Bankers, Stronghold entrances and Kiwiships salesmen.
KiwiAdmin

KiwiAdmin is the most essential moderation tool in Kiwike. It handles player bans, kicks and warnings. Everything is synched with http://kiwike.se/banlist.php
