As far as I'm aware, this has always been a bannable offence (I asked Droid about something similar last week, and he called in bannable if I didn't fix it).To be honest, patching the hole while running out through would've been something that would stop a ban, and would've been a viable escape.

So if someone is chasing me with weapons I have to pause and smelt myself some smoothstone so their wall looks pretty and their feelings don't get hurt or else I am banned from the server? That sounds ridiculous.

Breaking blocks is at your own risk, If you don't want to risk being banned, Do not destroy blocks placed by others

TBH, if it was smooth-stone that's kinda ridiculous. Mellow

RE: ban appeal - Android - 02-23-2012

Let's be reasonable here. If you're being chased out of the place, as Pavja was, asking you to replace everything (mind you it wasn't all that much) is fairly ridiculous. This is a fault of the rules, not of the mod who followed through faithfully.

What Dj said is nullified by this as well as the fact that they weren't player placed blocks. Thanks Dj for your input.

Now, in terms of what you were talking about with me, Leech. What we discussed didn't involve someone attacking you, I don't think, but if it did, I had responded in correlation to the rules, as this moderator did who banned Pavja.

If this is the full story and I haven't missed any lies on behalf of either party, could I have somebody unban Pavja?

Thank you.

I didn't make it involve attacking, but you did. If you might remember the discussion, it was about leaving blocks over a bed, to which your ruling was "If you died and left it there, it would be grief". This is a similar scenario. And, the fact that he broke in through this smoothstone meant that it was either an accident or that he was never going to replace it, or he would have had smoothstone prepared
