Derpy Hooves is a legitimate character, whether it be in our minds or on the screen.
She will live on, even if Hasbro decide to cut her name, and change her legitmate voicing
(They did, Last roundup S2 Episode was re-dubbed and derpy was completely different, nothing like the old derpy we love so much)
(And yeah, Hasbro we're thinking of taking derpy off the show forever... Really?)

I'm sending one or two polite mails everyday.
Actually, it's not Hasbro to blame. I heard it had something to do with the guys over at Itunes, this also explains why only the version on itunes was altered.

The description of that video stated something like "getting rid of derpy is hypocritical because it'd be prejudice against people with mental illnesses" as a counter argument. Although I respect that you bronies like the pony due to its character, if there's s chance that it could be percieved as a way to make fun of these people, it should be avoided
Of course you may say she has no connection to these unfortunate people, but if someone were to take offense, you're going to have a hard time changing their mind.
