No. With new RP, people will tend to switch in between one and another skin (at least, I will be.)

Also, viewing skins in 2D can look really awful unless you do it amazingly. Because a lot of people, whether you notice it or not, really need their face and mask to line up perfectly for it to look good. Only the MC client can make it look that perfect.

There's also a problem with the invisibility texture which a lot of skincrafters use, which would make people's black faces look white.

So no. Just leave it up to them to make it their profile picture if they want.
