I was banned for minor grief in a nether home, meanwhile, I don't believe I actually broke anything. Can I at least know what I did, because I'm like, 95% positive I haven't stumbled across anybody's home in the nether.

The ban is an hour long, and it was FunnyCop reporting it. So i'm guessing it has to do with his residence area? I'm not quite sure. Was told it happened a week ago by Saera.
Best thing to do Crash is wait it out, only an hour.
Edit: 30 minutes now, according to Saera.

Besides, I don't really think it will be noticed with the other 200 or so warnings and bans he has.
