Properly hiding thine stash. - Graft - 02-27-2011
Because almost every "raider" (-EDIT - Android
-) is a very naughty person! (-EDIT END-) . I'll learn you people how to hide your stash properly.-Step one.
Get yourself some smoothstone! (clean cobble, baked cobble etc...)
-Step two.
Find a place you can get to fast and you are able to remember, make sure it's underground.
-Step three.
Dig a 1x2 tunnel about 4 blocks far into the rock, place your chest there, stash your valueables & close it off with smoothstone.
Now your stash is invisible for a speedhacker who cannot exploit your diamond protection!
Tips & notes;
- Have absolutely no air blocks around your chest or it will show on wirecraft.
- You can combine the protection block with the hiding method, just make sure you place the stash more than 3 spaces from any cave or open area.
- Make multiple stashes, one with stuff you need to access fast (like a few diamonds for tools) and one or more with the other stuff (like the rest of the diamonds, your gold & music discs).
